Contracts Manager

Overview

You will manage end-to-end UK MOD contracts within a collaborative team, shaping commercial outcomes for current and future bids. The role sits in a cross-functional environment with procurement, finance, project management and engineering, driving risk-aware contract execution. You will influence negotiation strategies and ensure governance and compliance for profitable, timely delivery. Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contracts with the UK MOD and UK HMG bids
• Collaborate with Procurement to identify obligations, risks and ensure flow-down and mitigation
• Contribute to negotiation strategies for varied contracts and changes
• Highlight and mitigate commercial risks while ensuring governance and compliance
• Oversee commercial aspects of bidding processes, including bid preparations and term negotiations
• Ensure contracts are executed per company procedures and manage change and invoicing
• Prepare governance paperwork and terms/conditions during new bids and contract negotiations

Key requirements

• Contract management experience with UK MOD programmes
• Experience preparing and executing winning proposals and customer negotiations
• Ability to connect information to ensure contract alignment with written terms
• Security clearance eligibility to gain UK SC clearance
• Willingness to travel for project-related activities
