Regional Financial Controller UKICI

Overview

As Regional Financial Controller for the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands, you will oversee regional financial reporting, controls and policy setting to safeguard financial health. You lead the controlling team, drive regulatory compliance, and support strategic initiatives including M&A and divestitures. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver timely insights and robust financial governance in a complex, multi-region environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidations across subsidiaries and business units
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and regulatory reporting requirements
• Lead and develop the financial controlling team and provide strategic leadership
• Design and maintain robust internal controls and policies; oversee internal audits and remediation
• Identify and manage financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, senior management, external auditors and regulators
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and performance improvement
• Support strategic financial initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and due diligence; assist in integrating acquired entities

Key requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar regional finance role
• Experience in a geographically diverse organization
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience
• Ability to partner with a broad range of stakeholders including senior management and external parties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex matters clearly
• Familiarity with consolidation and reporting tools; SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud is advantageous
