Risk & Controls Manager (Cyber & Technology)

Overview

In this role you govern cyber and technology risk and controls, embedding proportionate risk management across IT, OT, digital and cloud services. You will translate enterprise risk needs into practical delivery, enabling clear risk articulation, assessment and remediation. You will influence senior leaders through insightful reporting and challenge management to strengthen risk maturity. Responsibilities

• Shape and improve cyber and technology risk management across the organisation
• Design and operate effective controls with practical advice and constructive challenge
• Turn risk data into insightful reporting to support senior decisions
• Build trusted relationships across technical and business teams to simplify risk ownership
• Lead and develop colleagues, improve ways of working, and foster an inclusive environment

Key requirements

• Practical experience managing cyber, technology, operational, digital or information risks and controls in a complex organisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify weaknesses and emerging themes
• Clear, inclusive communication with the ability to explain complex topics and challenge stakeholders
• Ability to build relationships and deliver through others in a collaborative setting
• Experience leading, coaching or developing others and managing competing priorities
