Senior Building Surveyor / Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a varied portfolio of building surveying and project management assignments from inception to completion. You’ll work within the London team to deliver projects across historic renovations, office fit-outs, refurbishments, fire safety and façade projects, shaping outcomes for clients and the business. You will collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams, driving delivery and opportunities for growth within a dynamic consultancy. Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across a varied portfolio (value 500k–50m)
• Act as Project Manager, Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent or Lead Consultant
• Engage with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure successful delivery from inception to completion
• Contribute to the wider consultancy offering and business growth
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and pursuit of new opportunities
• Support mentoring and leadership within the team

Key requirements

• Relevant degree in Building Surveying or Project Management
• At least two years post-qualification experience in a consultancy
• Strong understanding of the JCT suite of contracts
• Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client engagement
• Well-organised, self-motivated and commercially minded
• RICS accredited qualification preferred or candidates working towards accreditation
