Consultant Relations Analyst, Officer – State Street Investment Management

Overview

As Consultant Relations Analyst in London, you support relationships with investment consultants and drive growth across Europe. You will research the consultant landscape, maintain profiles and databases, and coordinate responses to RFPs and due diligence requests. You’ll prepare meeting materials and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a professional experience to external stakeholders. Your work helps strengthen client connections and contribute to new investment mandates.

Responsibilities

• Understand the consultant market and research firms, priorities, and manager selection processes
• Monitor industry trends and translate insights for the team
• Keep consultant databases up-to-date on State Street Investment Management and its strategies
• Coordinate timely, accurate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs
• Prepare briefing materials, notes, and presentations for meetings
• Maintain records of consultant activity and opportunities in Salesforce
• Collaborate with Consultant Relations Managers and cross-firm colleagues to ensure a consistent external experience

Key requirements

• Two to three years of relevant experience in asset management, investment consulting, client service, business development, product management, or investment research
• Genuine interest in financial markets and UK pensions/institutional investment landscape
• Strong analytical, numerical, and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Confident engaging with stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Finance, Economics, Business or related field qualification advantageous but not essential
