Scrum Master

Overview

In this Scrum Master role, you’ll guide Agile delivery across multiple teams to ensure steady business and technology outcomes. You will partner with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to promote Agile practices and improve team effectiveness in a complex enterprise setting. You’ll drive transformation, remove impediments, and help deliver high-quality, iterative software solutions. This position combines leadership, coaching, and governance to align delivery with organizational goals and scale Agile across programs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement) and ensure adherence to Scrum/SAFe
• Lead Agile transformation and scaling across programs and teams
• Guide iterative delivery of high-quality products and foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Coach development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders; act as servant leader to enable self-organizing teams
• Manage sprint and release planning, backlog prioritization, capacity planning, and delivery metrics
• Maintain RAID logs and ensure effective dependency management across workstreams
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior leadership to align delivery with priorities and provide risk-based insights
• Drive continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and data-driven decisions
• Support delivery governance and project reporting
• Identify and remove delivery impediments to improve performance

Key requirements

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant Scrum Master leadership
• Hands-on experience with Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban
• Proven experience leading Agile transformations and scaling
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Product Delivery frameworks
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing cross-functional distributed teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, including senior leaders
• Coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and servant leadership capabilities
• Backlog management, sprint planning, release planning, and Agile metrics
• Risk, issue, dependency, and governance management experience
• Dependency management across multiple teams and streams
• Experience removing delivery impediments to improve performance
• Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence
• Commercial awareness balancing business priorities and delivery objectives
• Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; MBA/PGDM preferred
• Certifications: CSM/PSM and SAFe roles (mandatory)
