Overview

In this role you contribute to Roku’s DMTE platform, focusing on high-performance UI and graphics rendering for the FRAME engine. You will work across hardware, firmware, and application teams to deliver smooth visuals at scale. You’ll explore AI/ML capabilities to accelerate development and impact millions of users. Responsibilities

• Build scalable UI features optimized for millions of users
• Contribute to middleware and UI investigations and solutions
• Explore integrating AI/ML capabilities to accelerate development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global platform features
• Develop engineering tools and learn from experienced developers

Key requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience with UI development exposure
• C++ in an embedded environment experience
• Proficiency in Typescript
• Experience building agentic AI systems that generate, optimize, and deliver scalable applications in production environments
• Strong problem-solving and technical communication abilities
• Proactive mindset with passion for continuous learning and fast iteration
