In this Senior Manager role within Deloitte’s Financial Services strategy team, you shape and deliver enterprise-level strategies for clients, leading workstreams in large programmes. You will mentor junior colleagues, build broad internal networks, and drive business development. Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high-quality client outputs and secure stakeholder buy-in
• Lead multiple engagements from scoping to delivery with minimal supervision
• Maintain and apply expert data/tools/frameworks knowledge to solve client problems
• Manage client and internal relationships to ensure seamless experience
• Lead rigorous analysis to support strategy development and change
• Support and develop team members, fostering accountability and diversity
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and structure hypotheses effectively
• Drive practice development and contribute to knowledge sharing and innovations
• Take a leadership role in business development and client opportunities

Key requirements

• Strong strategy consulting experience in financial services
• Experience in Insurance (Life and Pensions) or Banking
• Strong academic record; undergraduate degree or equivalent
• Proven ability to lead complex engagements and deliver strategic initiatives
• Ability to construct and evidence strategic arguments with diverse evidence sources
• Proven self-starter with independent work style
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise competing demands
• Experience with end-to-end project management and client communications
• Experience with problem diagnosis, solution development, and stakeholder management
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in strategy delivery
