Cyber Security Engineer

Overview

In this role you build and maintain SIEM environments and manage data onboarding to Cloud platforms, supporting 24/7 Cyber Security Operations. You work with stakeholders to engineer robust security monitoring solutions and ensure availability and reliability of cyber toolsets. You will collaborate across Agile and cross-functional teams on large projects and contribute to a secure enterprise IT posture. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain SIEM environments with a focus on data onboarding to Cloud platforms
• Install, configure and maintain cyber security toolsets (SIEM, SOAR, Cloud) including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data ingestion routes and engineer technical solutions
• Ensure availability, scalability and reliability of cyber toolsets and production systems
• Contribute to 24/7 EIT Cyber Security Operations Center for threat monitoring
• Participate in on-call duties as required
• Work on large, complex enterprise projects and technology onboarding within cross-functional and Agile teams

Key requirements

• Cloud and on-premise technology experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure components such as Sentinel
• Understanding of firewall and networking systems
• Attention to detail in tickets, emails and documentation
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps and Bitbucket
