Sustainability Consultant

Overview

You will contribute to delivering BREEAM assessments for high-profile commercial, retail, multi-residential and leisure projects from a Birmingham-based team. In this role, you’ll manage assessments through pre-design to post-construction stages, liaising with clients and design teams to ensure robust sustainability outcomes. You’ll have opportunities to expand into SBEM and SAP calculations and IES modelling, broadening your technical impact. This role offers growth within a growing consultancy and the chance to deepen your BREEAM expertise while shaping sustainable buildings.

Responsibilities

• Undertake BREEAM assessments
• Prepare expert written reports
• Liaise with clients, design teams and architects
• Progress to SBEM and SAP calculations and IES modelling

Key requirements

• BREEAM assessment experience
• Experience delivering BREEAM from pre-design to post-construction
• Licenced BREEAM New Construction Assessor (anticipated)
• SBEM/SAP experience advantageous
• Bachelor or equivalent in a relevant discipline (preferred)
