Management Accountant – Manufacturing

Overview

In this role you will partner with manufacturing operations to drive financial performance. You will own variance analysis, standard costing and reporting, ensuring accuracy across the function. Working with production and senior stakeholders, you will support operational decisions with meaningful analysis and contribute to month-end close, reconciliations and forecasting. The role also focuses on working capital improvements and identifying automation and process improvements. • £45k-£55k salary

Responsibilities

• Act as primary finance partner to manufacturing operations
• Own manufacturing variance analysis and standard costing
• Produce and improve reporting for the function
• Support month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist forecasting and working capital initiatives
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
• Collaborate with non-financial stakeholders to support decision-making

Key requirements

• 2–3 years in a manufacturing accounting environment
• Strong standard costing and variance analysis experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Confident partnering with non-financial stakeholders
• Experience in a SOX-controlled environment (desirable)
