Management Accountant, CIMA in Transportation

In this Management Accountant role, you will deliver accurate month-end reporting and strategic financial insights within a fast-paced transportation-focused finance team. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and operational teams to drive performance through analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The position combines hands-on accounting tasks with opportunities to improve processes and consolidate group reporting. Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for strategic planning
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities (journals, accruals)
• Provide financial analysis to operational teams to drive performance
• Assist with consolidations and group reporting in line with standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within finance operations

Key requirements

• CIMA graduate scheme completion or strong post-qualification experience in Management Accounting
• Experience in Transportation or Logistics industry preferred
• Experience with reporting standards and systems such as Xero or QuickBooks
