Data Operations Manager – OBEX

Overview

As Data Operations Manager, you shape the commercial data, reporting and operational ecosystem to drive informed decisions and sharper execution across a global portfolio. You’ll collaborate with Commercial Effectiveness, Business Operations, BI&A and technology teams to deliver trusted insights and streamlined processes that support customer engagement, segmentation and incentive operations. Your work reduces manual effort, improves data quality and visibly elevates commercial performance. This role combines data strategy with hands-on execution to enable impactful decision-making in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve reporting and analytics solutions used daily by the business
• Develop scalable dashboards and measurement tools to guide decisions
• Drive automation to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery
• Ensure solutions evolve with changing business needs and platform enhancements
• Lead optimization of segmentation, targeting, territory alignment, incentive operations and performance reporting
• Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, governed solutions
• Define and maintain data governance standards and controls
• Collaborate with BI&A, CRM providers and stakeholders to strengthen data definitions and consistency
• Turn commercial questions into actionable data and insights for strategic projects and business reviews
• Champion continuous improvement and data-driven performance

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, Life Sciences or related discipline
• Advanced Excel capability
• Strong Power BI or similar BI platform knowledge
• Experience with pharmaceutical/healthcare/consulting/commercial data and reporting environments
• Proven ability to transform complex data into practical business solutions
• Experience developing dashboards, data models or analytical solutions supporting commercial decision-making
• Experience improving processes and implementing scalable solutions across stakeholders
• Ability to balance technical detail with business needs
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics and emerging data technologies
• Experience working with multiple commercial data sources and enterprise reporting environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust data, reporting and process solutions
