Electrical Engineering Program Manager, EU AMZL Sustainability Engineering

Overview

In this role you drive the electrification of Amazon’s Europe delivery network, shaping electrical standards for EV charging and smart grid solutions. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant installations and cost-conscious delivery of new infrastructure. You’ll influence vendors and stakeholders, report progress to leadership, and help advance Amazon’s net-zero by 2040 ambition. This is a chance to scale sustainable delivery and improve operations at a continental level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage vendor relationships to secure installation capacity, commissioning quality, and on-site coordination with health and safety and operations teams
• Validate electrical designs to confirm adherence to standards during installation of electrical equipment and EV charging infrastructure
• Define and communicate electrical standards for equipment to improve carbon footprint and support adoption of new tools across EU delivery stations
• Monitor cost control and financial performance while maintaining installation reliability and program outcomes
• Report progress to leadership on milestones and ensure accurate tracking of deliverables and outcomes
• Collaborate with Operations, Process Improvement, Health and Safety, Finance, and Procurement to design and deploy EV charging infrastructure and electrical equipment

Key requirements

• Experience in planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledge of process quality management and/or infrastructure commissioning
