As a SalesAssistant/Delivery Driver 3.5t based ina brand new branch in Leicester you’llbe responsible for:
- Driving a 3.5T van delivering plumbing andheating supplies to our customers in the localarea.
- Serving customers on the trade counter byunderstanding their specific needs and providing productrecommendations
- Responding to customerenquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with aproactive attitude
- Proactively contactingcustomers to build relationships and drive branch salesparticularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactivespending
- Assisting with general warehouseduties including picking & packing customer orders, unpackingand putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling ofheavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks andtoilets
- Ensuring high standards are maintainedin the branch
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hoursper week Monday – Friday between 07.00am – 5.00pm and Saturdays ona rota basis 8.00am – 12.00pm.
And here’s what we’d like you tohave:
- FullUK Driving Licence is essential
- Prior industryexperience would be advantageous
- Previous Faceto Face customer service is essential
- Priorwarehouse experience would be ideal
- Willingnessto work as a part of a team and to take on a diverserole
- Proactive and eager to learn,demonstrating a positive attitude and strong workethic
- Proficient in computerskills
- To be comfortable lifting heavyitems
