Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Fabrications Planning Supply Chain

Overview

In this role, you will provide Manufacturing Engineering support to the FalconWorks Airframe Supply Chain Team, ensuring on-time, cost-effective delivery to external suppliers. You’ll create and maintain engineering data, support DFMs, and liaise with internal teams and suppliers to enable secure delivery of FalconWorks products. The position sits in a cross-functional, on-site team focused on improving manufacturing processes and compliance with SHE standards. You will shape manufacturing outputs that meet design intent at scale.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Manufacturing Engineering data for external suppliers using SAPCAMS, CATIA, Siemens NX, and Teamcenter VisView
• Provide build-line support to suppliers to ensure on-time, in-cost delivery across FalconWorks products
• Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) feedback to design teams
• Submit non-conformance reports for externally supplied parts and drive root-cause investigations with Lean tools
• Provide build-line support and resolve SQNs with suppliers and support procurement with engineering input
• Contribute to quality and SHE systems management for Manufacturing Engineering processes and documentation
• Coach and lead other team members within FalconWorks Supply Chain IPT
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to support project delivery and supplier relationships

Key requirements

• HNC or equivalent qualification, or Foundation degree with experience in Manufacturing Engineering
• Professional knowledge of engineering standards including SHE regulations
• Experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Knowledge of fabrication manufacturing processes and specifications
• Experience with Design for Manufacture reviews using Teamcentre PLM and Teamcentre Unified or similar PLM system
• Significant involvement in Manufacturing Engineering projects within a cross-functional setting
