Overview

In this role, you will shape the Health data strategy by mapping clinical workflows into use-case taxonomies and coordinating with research to prioritize capabilities and data pipelines. You design high-quality health data, QA datasets from vendors and synthetic sources, and translate expert contributions into training data. You will evaluate model performance on healthcare use cases, stress-test in real workflows, and guide cross-team evaluation to ensure clinical coverage and realism. You lead SMEs and enforce vendor quality, driving impact for health professionals within Gemini’s AI platform.

Responsibilities

• Set health data strategy by mapping clinical workflows into use-case taxonomy
• Design and QA health datasets from vendors, customers, and synthetic pipelines
• Reproduce model failures and stress-test checkpoints to identify missing clinical knowledge and false assumptions
• Build health evaluations against industry benchmarks and advise cross-team evaluation on clinical coverage and realism
• Recruit and guide SMEs; act as domain authority to enforce vendor quality
• Convert expert contributions into usable training data
• Shape foundational data strategy for health-related professional domains within Gemini

Key requirements

• Master’s degree in Health-related field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience measuring and optimizing LLMs or generative AI in healthcare or clinical use cases
