Delivery Lead – Enterprise Technology (Team Agile Coach II)

Overview

In this Delivery Lead role, you will direct multi-stream enterprise technology programmes across cloud, infrastructure, and platform domains, ensuring delivery health and governance. You’ll partner with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders to shape modern delivery practices and enable AI-enabled ways of working within a regulated context. You’ll coach teams, remove blockers, and drive tangible outcomes while maintaining executive visibility over progress and risks. This is a strategic leadership position focused on delivering value at scale through collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across multiple enterprise technology programmes, platforms and transformation initiatives
• Own delivery health, governance, reporting, risks and dependencies across the portfolio
• Embed consistent delivery standards and best practices across teams
• Provide executive-level visibility of progress, issues and outcomes
• Coach and mentor delivery professionals and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with cloud, platform and engineering teams to optimise delivery
• Support AI-assisted and engineered practices within a governed framework
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with business and third-party partners
• Balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery support when required

Key requirements

• Significant experience leading delivery across multiple technology teams, programmes or portfolios
• Proven track record of improving delivery practices and maturity
• Strong experience establishing governance, reporting frameworks and RAID management
• Ability to quickly take ownership of complex programmes and create momentum
• Experience managing large-scale technology, cloud, infrastructure or platform initiatives
• Strong understanding of Agile, Lean and modern software delivery practices
• Experience working with highly technical engineering teams and senior technology leaders
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across business and technology functions
• Experience operating within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments
• Coaching-led leadership style to drive change through influence
