Senior GenAI Platform Engineer – Artificial Intelligence

Overview

As a Senior GenAI Platform Engineer at Bloomberg, you will design and maintain multi-tenant GenAI platform systems that support scalable model training, inference, and monitoring. You will partner with GenAI application teams to streamline workflows and uplift platform usability, while engaging with open-source communities to improve the development experience. Your work will help reduce friction in production ML workstreams and shape the GenAI lifecycle at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and diagnose multi-tenant GenAI platform systems
• Design seamless workflows for continuous model training, inference, and monitoring with GenAI application teams
• Collaborate with GenAI experts to identify inefficiencies and define new platform features
• Engage with open-source communities and GenAI teams to enhance development experience
• Troubleshoot and debug user issues
• Provide operational and user-facing documentation

Key requirements

• Experience with an object-oriented programming language (Python, Go, etc.)
• Experience with GenAI technologies (MCP, A2A, Langgraph, LlamaIndex, Pydantic AI, OpenAI APIs and SDKs)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
• Understanding of CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
