Platform Architect – Engineering Technologist

Overview

In this Platform Architect role, you will shape long-term technology strategies for advanced AI compute, network, and storage platforms within Dell’s Engineering Technologist team. You’ll align vendor roadmaps with business goals, drive technical differentiation, and lead cross-functional forums to accelerate next‑gen solutions. You’ll work with AI-influenced development, contributing to architecture decisions, IP generation, and impactful product directions for enterprise-scale infrastructure. This role offers the chance to influence strategic tech directions across multiple products and partners while shaping the future of enterprise technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term technology strategies with cross-functional input
• Align internal and external stakeholders to strategy
• Build and maintain vendor/partner relationships and roadmaps
• Host regular technology reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Identify differentiation opportunities and advise on technical directions

Key requirements

• 15+ years of related professional experience
