The Role:
The successful Claims Handler will be responsible for:
- Manage commercial insurance claims from notification to settlement.
- Provide claims guidance and support to clients.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties daily.
- Identify coverage issues and potential fraud concerns.
- Maintain accurate records while meeting service standards and deadlines.
- Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the claims process.
The Person:The successful Claims Handler will meet the following criteria:
- CII qualified or working towards professional qualifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of claims handling and the insurance market.
- Understanding of insurance policy terms and conditions.
- Ability to assess customer needs and provide appropriate advice.
- Awareness of regulatory, compliance, and consumer protection requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
