We are delighted to be working with an international Energy business as they look to add an experienced Accountant, with focus on Statutory Accounts prep and preparing full financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality statutory financial statements and audit back-up.

n

• Give external auditors information and justifications on the entity's statutory financial statements and the group's financial statements.

n

• Exhibit a solid understanding of local laws, appropriate local accounting standards, group accounting policies, and International Financial Reporting Standards.

n

• Assist the Internal Audit procedure by offering justifications and data as required.

n

• Compliance with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements, ensuring financial controls are addressed within deadlines set

n

• Preparation of reconciliations and analysis with relevant and appropriate back up and critical analysis of the balances in significant entities

n

If you are a PQ/Qualified Accountant curious as to whether this is the role to accelerate your own personal development then I would be keen to hear from you. Experience of working in a similar role is essential, as is IFRS experience and SAP skills are also beneficial.
