Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant | 12-Month FTC | Chester (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team at Forge Holiday Group on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The essentials:

• Chester HQ (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in the office)

What you’ll be doing:

• Owning financial reporting for business divisions, brands and cost centres
• Preparing month-end, year-end and statutory accounts
• Supporting audits, acquisitions and business integrations
• Providing financial insight and analysis to support decision-making
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency across the finance function

What we’re looking for:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or actively studying)
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of FRS101/IFRS standards
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across the business
