Overview

As an IT Technical Delivery Lead at AIG, you will steer technology delivery for modernization and transformation programs. You’ll collaborate with business leads and cross-functional teams to deliver complex IT workstreams, driving integration and vendor partnerships. You’ll manage scope, budgets, and delivery quality while solving complex problems and guiding junior colleagues. Your leadership will enable fast-paced, matrix-structured delivery that aligns with our strategic goals and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Mobilizes delivery teams and resources to execute technology work in line with standards and metrics
• Collaborates with Business Leads and stakeholders to deliver workstreams/programs
• Leads systems integration partners and vendors to deliver solutions
• Manages baseline scope vs estimates and participates in change control processes
• Provides cost estimates and contributes financial inputs to PMO and Finance
• Drives Delivery QA reviews and resolves critical actions to timelines
• Identifies and resolves complex problems and escalates appropriately
• Sets priorities for tasks to achieve objectives with minimal supervision
• Provides leadership in planning and executing strategic initiatives and mentors junior staff
• Serves as SME to AIG and stakeholders in a specific technology area

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Technology Delivery in the Insurance sector
• Experience with digital trading insurance platforms (e.g., Acturis) desirable
• In-depth knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
• Exposure to Robotic Process Automation desirable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking team environment
• Strong prioritisation and execution skills under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of technology delivery principles and Agile practices
• Strong vendor/partner management experience
• Ability to interact with senior management in a large, matrix organization
