Security Architect

Overview

As Security Architect at Vodafone, you will shape security policy and technical controls to support major programmes and evolving technology. You will ensure designs align with regulatory needs and build a future-ready security blueprint for global platforms. You’ll influence security strategy and roadmaps, collaborating with leadership and engineering across the Group and Local Markets. This role offers the opportunity to impact how we balance security with delivery, in a diverse, inclusive, and mission-driven environment.

Pay / Benefits

• Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
• Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + buy/carry over 5 days

Responsibilities

• Provide security input to major programmes to ensure secure designs
• Develop security controls to counter emerging threats with evolving tech
• Plan and define security controls and roadmaps
• Contribute to a blueprint of technical controls and patterns
• Ensure architectural designs comply with UK TSA and TSR requirements

Key requirements

• Strong technical background in Cyber Security
• Consultancy skills in global corporate environments
• Excellent communication to summarize complex scenarios
• Proven stakeholder management and ability to build rapid rapport
• Working knowledge of UK Telecommunications Security Act (TSA)

• Knowledge of security standards – NCSC, ISO, NIST, CIS, OWASP Top 10
• Network, Data Centre, Cloud, Security Operations, Infosec
