Senior Building Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will lead and own building surveying projects for commercial and education clients, from inception through completion. You will manage client relationships, drive project delivery, and support business growth of key service lines. You’ll work autonomously within a forward-thinking consultancy to shape refurbishment, capital works, and fit-out initiatives. This is a hands-on, client-facing position with meaningful impact in a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead refurbishment, fit-out, extension and capital projects from inception through to completion
• Undertake Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent duties
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation
• Manage project costs, programmes and risk
• Provide professional Building Surveying advice to commercial and education clients
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Support business development and growth of the service lines

Key requirements

• Chartered MRICS or MAPM
• strong project delivery background
• experience in Building Surveying consultancy environment
• experience across Contract Administration, Project Management, Design & Specification, Refurbishment and capital works
• experience with commercial and/or education projects
