Europe Business Execution Lead Analyst, Vice President

Overview

In this VP role you will strengthen the governance framework for Citi’s Markets Europe businesses and oversee risk and controls monitoring. You will drive process and control automation, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve efficiency and sustainability. You will represent the team in senior forums, coordinate audits, and address regulatory issues in a cross-border environment. You will mentor junior staff and deliver management information to senior leaders, contributing to a stable, compliant scale of operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the governance framework for Europe Markets businesses
• Oversee risk and controls monitoring activities in Europe Markets
• Sponsor and lead process and control automation efforts (AI-enabled)
• Represent the team in senior forums and act as decision-maker
• Ensure controls and monitoring methodologies are well-designed and executed
• Oversee internal and external audits and issue resolution coordination
• Support risk assessments, risk inventory maintenance, and control execution
• Prepare Senior Management information presentations
• Mentor and support junior team members

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in a similar risk and controls role
• Experience in internal audit and/or operational risk preferred
• Experience automating controls/processes with AI
• Strong interpersonal and cross-border collaboration skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work independently in a cross-border environment
• Ability to raise issues timely and escalate as needed
