Asset Management PMO Lead

Overview

In this role you will bring structure to Asset Management planning, translating requirements into integrated delivery plans, milestones and risks. You will coordinate multi-workstream delivery, facilitate workshops, and maintain governance and reporting to inform decisions. You will act as a trusted delivery partner, helping teams overcome challenges and embed PMO standards. You will contribute to a forward-looking regulatory program and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into clear, measurable deliverables and plans
• Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams to keep priorities aligned
• Facilitate workshops and planning sessions to build consensus and progress
• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans with milestones, dependencies and risks
• Ensure governance, risks, issues, actions and decisions are captured and managed
• Provide insightful reporting and delivery updates for decision-making
• Support workstream leads to overcome challenges and maintain momentum
• Help design, improve and embed PMO processes and ways of working
• Support strategic planning for regulatory activity and business delivery
• Drive continuous improvement to simplify processes and increase transparency across teams

Key requirements

• Experience in PMO, programme delivery, project controls or similar roles
• Strong planning and organisational skills to translate requirements into plans
• Experience managing governance, reporting, RAID and delivery tracking
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to improve processes
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools; Power BI is advantageous
• Experience in Asset Management, Engineering, Utilities or regulated environments is beneficial
