S2P Procurement Manager

Overview

As the enterprise process lead for the global Source To Contract (S2C) model, you define strategy, governance and a multi-year transformation roadmap across sourcing, contracting, buying and supplier enablement, and ensure integration with Procure-to-Pay. You translate procurement strategy into scalable, global ways of working, delivering measurable value and improved user experience. You will deputise for the Head of Procurement Excellence on S2P matters and influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive value.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Primark’s global Source-to-Contract (S2C) process with focus on consistency, compliance and best practice
• Define and maintain global procurement processes, policies, standards, controls and operating models
• Lead the multi-year S2P transformation strategy and roadmap
• Act as senior procurement lead for S2P transformation to deliver business outcomes
• Provide strategic advice on procurement capabilities, operating models, technology investment and risk management
• Lead S2C governance forums and manage key risk escalation
• Own global S2C performance metrics to improve compliance, efficiency, user experience and value
• Establish KPIs and reporting to support data-driven decision-making
• Utilise data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure governance, controls and third-party risk management across the procurement lifecycle
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit to strengthen controls and address gaps
• Shape and sponsor procurement technology, automation, AI and data initiatives
• Drive adoption of standard tools and ways of working across regions and functions
• Influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Finance, Technology, GBS and the wider business
• Build organisational capability through leadership, coaching, change management and continuous improvement programmes

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in senior procurement, global process ownership or enterprise transformation roles in complex international organisations
• Proven track record leading end-to-end S2P strategy, transformation and change programmes
• Expertise in designing and implementing global procurement processes, operating models and governance frameworks
• Strong experience driving standardisation, digitisation, automation and scalable procurement solutions
• Ability to develop business cases and present strategic recommendations to executives
• Deep knowledge of procurement governance, sourcing, contracting, supplier management, third-party risk and P2P integration
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to translate transformations into measurable value
• Experience across Procurement, Finance and Shared Services/GBS to deliver end-to-end process improvements
• Proven success enabling procurement technology, data, analytics and AI-driven improvements
• Strong capability in defining KPIs, performance frameworks and continuous improvement programmes
• Experience building teams and embedding a culture of excellence
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leaders
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking and decision-making
• Highly organised, results-focused and capable of managing multiple priorities
