IT Service Manager / IT Operational Delivery Project Manager – Energy Trading

Overview

In this role you will lead DEX Sustainability from design to delivery and value realization, ensuring smooth delivery and operation of IT services. You will drive operational readiness, service transitions, and stabilisation while coordinating cross-functional teams. The position sits at the intersection of project delivery and ongoing service management within a global energy company. You will influence leadership on technical and operational issues and shape the path to business-as-usual support.

Responsibilities

• Lead DEX Sustainability from design through delivery and value realization
• Manage service performance, stability, incidents, risk and OPEX
• Oversee resilience, environments, release management and change control
• Define non-functional requirements and measurable operational outcomes
• Drive operational readiness, service transition, deployment and handover to BAU
• Identify delivery risks, root causes and process inefficiencies
• Communicate technical and operational issues to leadership
• Lead cross-functional teams through delivery, testing, deployment and transition to BAU

Key requirements

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent certification
• Strong Agile and Waterfall delivery experience
• Proven delivery of technology projects into production
• Operational readiness and service transition experience
• Cloud, SaaS and digital platform experience
• Governance, assurance and vendor management
• Planning, budgeting, dependency and risk management
• Executive stakeholder management and financial forecasting
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience in digital, data and technology delivery
