Production Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a cross-functional manufacturing team to deliver a range of electronic and electro-mechanical products. You will drive on-time delivery, quality, safety, and cost through lean practices and strong people leadership. Based in Glenrothes with potential support to Livingston, you will implement production plans and continuous improvements. Responsibilities

• Act as Control Account Manager for the Manufacturing function
• Manage touch labour hours per unit and manufacturing budgets
• Develop and execute production plans to meet on-time delivery
• Handle high mix with changing priorities using Lean Manufacturing
• Develop Employee Performance
• Own safety procedures
• Drive process and quality improvements using RTX CORE

Key requirements

• Relevant years’ experience in Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations
• Degree or Diploma in a Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Operations related discipline

• Effective people management
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Disciplined work approach
• Experience with SAP / shopfloor control systems
• EVMS (Earned Value Management System)
• Lean Manufacturing concepts
