Senior Business Analyst (IAM)

Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst focused on IAM, you will shape identity and access capabilities on a major transformation for a critical infrastructure client. You’ll collaborate with business, security and engineering teams to define access models, map identity journeys and support modern identity solutions. The role blends business analysis with governance and platform onboarding to drive a secure, user-friendly IAM environment. Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with business, security and application stakeholders
• Gather and document identity and access requirements
• Map current and future-state identity journeys and processes
• Define RBAC models, access controls and entitlement structures
• Support identity platform onboarding and integration activities
• Identify opportunities to improve IAM processes and user experiences
• Collaborate with engineers and service teams to generate implementation-ready requirements
• Support testing and validation of identity solutions

Key requirements

• Strong BA experience within Identity & Access Management
• Knowledge of provisioning, deprovisioning, entitlements and access governance
• Experience running workshops and managing complex stakeholders
• Strong process mapping and requirements gathering capabilities
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or similar identity platforms
• Ability to bridge business, security and technical teams
• Experience supporting identity transformation or access management programmes
• Active SC Clearance
