Principal Systems Architect – M365 and EUC

Overview

In this role you will design and operate Finastra’s global Microsoft 365 environment, combining strategic platform architecture with hands-on administration. You will ensure secure, reliable services aligned with business needs and lead global initiatives such as migrations and governance. You’ll work with cross-border stakeholders and provide technical leadership to shape collaboration and productivity at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for M365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
• Establish tenant-wide data protection, retention, and regulatory compliance policies
• Administer, monitor and troubleshoot M365 services to ensure performance and availability
• Serve as SME for complex incidents, perform root cause analysis and escalation
• Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations and coordinate global delivery
• Develop PowerShell automation and improve reporting and efficiency
• Maintain runbooks and operational documentation for consistency
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and provide technical leadership

Key requirements

• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Strong Entra ID, identity, authentication, and compliance features knowledge
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Experience leading large-scale M365 migrations
• Understanding of governance and change management processes
• Experience with Intune and endpoint management
• 7+ years of IT experience with strong M365 engineering background
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
