Forward Deployed Engineer, Gen AI, Google Cloud

Overview

As a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer, you will bridge frontier AI products with production-grade reality inside customers’ environments. You code and debug bespoke agentic solutions, ship them客户-facing, and drive blockers to production. You collaborate with customer teams to instill Google-grade best practices, enabling long-term success and adoption. You join a cross-functional, high-autonomy team focused on scalable, observable AI systems that meet safety and latency targets. This role offers hands-on impact, tying technical delivery to measurable business ROI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate agentic AI workflows within customer environments, connecting Google AI products to live infrastructures
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to verify accuracy, safety, and latency requirements
• Identify reusable patterns from field deployments and convert them into modules or feature requests for engineering
• Co-build with customer engineers to apply Google-grade development practices and ensure adoption
• Lead technical discovery sessions and articulate customer needs into concrete deliverables
• Hands-on coding, debugging, and joint shipping of bespoke AI solutions in enterprise contexts
• Embed with accounts to deploy complex AI systems with white-glove care and provide feedback to product teams

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering
• 5 years of software development experience (Python or similar)
• Experience shipping production-grade AI solutions from concept to launch on cloud platforms (GCP)
• Experience building data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions
