Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design across commercial, residential, and industrial projects within a growing building services consultancy. You’ll partner with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver energy-efficient solutions while mentoring engineers. You will drive design quality, regulatory compliance, and business development in a London hybrid setup. This is a chance to shape sustainable building projects and grow with the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple building services projects
• Design and oversee electrical systems including power, lighting, and fire alarms
• Coordinate project teams and ensure successful delivery
• Review technical drawings, calculations, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations and industry standards
• Drive sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions
• Mentor and support junior engineers
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience managing MEP teams and projects
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong understanding of UK building and electrical regulations
• Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
