They offer a friendly yet professional working environment and pride themselves on delivering an honest and knowledgeable service to their customers.They’re looking for someone with experience working as an HGV Class 2 Driver who is happy to get involved in the practical side of the job and learn new skills.To be considered for this role, you will need:A Class 2 Driving Licence , enabling you to drive tankersPrevious experience working as an HGV Class 2 DriverTo live within a 30-minute drive of the main office in CoalvilleA willingness to undertake the training required for the roleThe ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting other operatives and engineers when requiredTo be confident carrying out daily and weekly maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure everything remains fully operationalA good level of physical fitness, as the position involves manual work
What you’ll be doing:You will be trained to operate drain and sewer cleaning vehicles and machinery, working across commercial and industrial sites as well as residential properties.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out emergency and planned drain cleaning and cleansing workEmptying septic tanks and interceptorsWorking alongside other engineers to assist with additional drainage tasks when requiredOperating a van pack jetting unit as required
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per year, plus overtime and on-call bonus.Hours: Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of 7.30am – 4.30pm.Some flexibility will be required around start and finish times. Overtime and weekend work is also available.On-call rota:The on-call rota is currently 1 week in 4, Monday to Friday.
