Senior Site Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead setting-out activities and coordinate the survey-led delivery of a major civil engineering project in Bedfordshire. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure accuracy, QA, and timely communication. Responsibilities

• Conduct setting-out work and verify alignment with project plans
• Use GPS coordinates to establish accurate positioning on site
• Liaise with Project Manager and site team to align on progress and issues
• Perform Quality Assurance checks and ensure compliance with specs
• Oversee and support Setting-out Engineers on site
• Contribute to on-site problem solving and field coordination on civil works

Key requirements

• Experience on civil engineering projects (roads, utilities)
• Proficient with Leica total station
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Full Driving Licence
• Experience on major construction sites and setting-out responsibilities
