HGV Technician Supervisor Earlies / Lates Shift

Hours: 45 hours 06.00 – 13.30 | 13.00 – 22.00 with a 30 min break with alternate Saturday’s paid at time and a half

Paying between £25.00 and £26. 85 pr hr and with alternate Saturday’s paid at time and a half

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
• Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI’s etc
• Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
• Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment
• Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge

• C&G or NVQ3 Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification
• Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
• Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
