People MI, Data & Insights Consultant

Overview

In this role you turn workforce data into actionable insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making. You will work across people, finance and risk domains to uncover trends, risks and opportunities, translating data into clear recommendations. The role emphasizes going beyond reporting to explain why outcomes occur and what may happen next, with a focus on automation, self-service reporting, dashboards and AI-driven insight. You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive value and influence people strategy in a blended working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop workforce insight linking people trends to business priorities, performance, risk and value
• Create and improve reporting, dashboards, and analytical products to enable evidence-based decisions
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and free capacity for higher-value insights
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, leading indicators, risks and opportunities across the employee lifecycle
• Partner with stakeholders to define business questions, challenge assumptions and recommend actions
• Drive continuous improvement in data quality, governance, and AI-enabled insight generation

Key requirements

• Strong analytical skills turning complex data into actionable business insight
• Commercial awareness linking workforce information with performance, cost, risk and value
• Experience producing management information, dashboards or analytical products in business environments
• Excellent data visualization, storytelling and stakeholder management
• Good understanding of data quality, controls, definitions and governance
• Experience with workforce/organizational or financial data and clear communication of findings
• Demonstrable experience of Workday and interest in people analytics, workforce intelligence and AI
