Fairmead are currently recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis on behalf of our client, a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, for a long-term scheme in Oxford.

MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR — OXFORD

Overview of role

• Location: Oxford
• Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 plus package
• Permanent, site-based on a major infrastructure project
• Leading the commercial team on the project — managing a team of QSs, monthly CVRs, cash flow, risk and opportunity, and reporting to the Commercial Manager
• Owning the NEC4 contract with the client, and the subcontract strategy beneath it

Requirements

• Proven Managing or Senior QS experience with a main or civils contractor, with a track record of running a commercial team
• NEC4 Option C experience essential
• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Full UK driving licence
