HGV Class 1 Driver
Assessment dates for Next week.
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers with at least 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE for ongoing work.
WILL TAKE NEW PASS DRIVERS AT LOWER RATE.
This role offers regular work, competitive pay rates, and a variety of deliveries including palletised goods and some refrigerated work.
Job Role
- Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
- Completing 12 drops per shift
- Delivering mainly palletised goods with some fridge work involved
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork and tachograph records are completed correctly
- Following all driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
Shift Information
- Day shifts: Start times between 02:00 06:00
- Night shifts: Start times between 20:00 00:00
- Shifts can be up to 12 hours
- Various shift patterns available

Experienced Drivers Contract Only (2+ years experience)
Time of Work Role Rate p/h Mon – Fri Days HGV Class 1 Driver £19.00 Mon – Fri Nights HGV Class 1 Driver £21.00 Saturday HGV Class 1 Driver £22.00 Sunday HGV Class 1 Driver £24.00 Bank Holidays HGV Class 1 Driver £26.00
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (2 years class 1 experience)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Professional and reliable attitude
