TechMet Recruitingis currently supporting a leading Irish /European data centre delivery partner with the recruitment of an experienced MEP Lead for major turnkey data centre projects across Europe. Role based in Finland. Irish Tier 1 Client is currently delivering multiple turnkey data centre projects across Europe
- Tier 1 Irish company offering 17/4 rotation and all flights to Ireland

The MEP Lead will be responsible for managing and coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design and construction through to commissioning and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate MEP services across design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Manage and support the MEP project team, including subcontractors, engineers, supervisors, and specialist contractors.
- Oversee technical reviews, quality inspections, progress reporting, and project documentation.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, design teams, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Review and approve MEP design documentation, technical submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Identify, manage, and resolve technical, design, and construction issues to maintain project progress.
- Coordinate installation activities and ensure effective interface management between MEP disciplines and other trades.
- Drive commissioning readiness and ensure the successful testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Support project planning, forecasting, procurement, and progress tracking.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years experiencewithin large-scale construction, data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
- Strong MEP background with proven experience leading complex projects.
- Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and specialist subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of MEP design coordination, installation methodologies, testing, and commissioning.
- Previous experience working on data centre or mission-critical projects is highly desirable.
