Senior Oracle Functional Consultant / Contractor – Indirect Tax (Remote or Office-based)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Oracle Functional Consultant / Contractor with strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Financials and preferably hands‑on experience delivering indirect tax projects.

Key Requirements

• Strong functional consultant experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials), or alternatively Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 (Financials).
• Proven experience working on relevant and successful indirect tax implementation projects within Oracle.
• Ability to work independently but within an experienced team, to gather and analyse requirements (working directly with our clients) and provide (design, build and test) functional solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting configuration issues and supporting testing and implementation activities.

Desirable Experience (preferable but not essential)

• Experience integrating third‑party tax solutions with Oracle such as Vertex, Thomson Reuters and Avalara (tax engines, compliance and or e‑invoicing).
• Experience supporting Oracle implementations, upgrades or tax‑related projects.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and maintaining the Oracle Tax Engine, including tax rules, rates and determination.
• Experience troubleshooting tax configuration issues and supporting testing and implementation activities.

What We’re Looking For

A senior‑level consultant with practical, hands‑on Oracle Financials implementation experience (end to end), preferably including indirect tax. The ideal person will have a strong understanding of indirect tax requirements and how these are configured and managed within Oracle.
