Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Supply Chain BLS

Overview

In this role you will support the manufacture of bought-out airframe parts across multiple aircraft programmes, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturing solutions meet programme requirements. You will manage engineering data, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement across the procurement lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain supplier performance and enable high-quality delivery. Responsibilities

• Create and manage manufacturing data packs by reviewing BOMs, engineering drawings and specs to support supplier manufacturing
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to resolve manufacturing, tooling and process queries throughout procurement and production
• Support supplier capability assessments, approvals and ongoing manufacturing performance across airframe programmes
• Assess concessions and production permits, supporting engineering change activities and ensuring compliance with approval processes
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Quality, Procurement and Project teams to drive continuous improvement strategies

Key requirements

• Engineering Degree, HNC/HND or recognised apprenticeship in manufacturing/engineering
• Experience supporting detail and assembly manufacturing, including drawings, specifications and BOMs
• Experience working with suppliers to resolve manufacturing, production, tooling or process issues
• Proven experience managing engineering data and technical documentation across multiple stakeholders
• Working knowledge of SAP, CATIA, and experience supporting engineering changes, concessions or production permits
