Are you an Email and SMS specialist who gets a real buzz from testing, optimising, and squeezing more performance from every flow and campaign? We’re working with a fast-growing, digitally native fashion brand with a loyal customer base and ambitious growth plans. The CRM programme was built from the ground up and is in a strong place, and the brand now needs a channel expert to take full ownership and drive it forward. This is a scale-up environment where autonomy, pace and initiative are valued, and where your work will have a direct, visible impact on retention and revenue.
The CRM Manager (Email & SMS) will own the brand’s email and SMS channels end to end, from the campaign calendar to every automated flow. This role is deliberately focused. Rather than spreading across new channels, you’ll go deep on the two that matter most, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to make a high‑performing programme even stronger. You’ll report directly to the Head of Retention and be trusted to run the channels independently.
Role Highlights
- Take full ownership of the email and SMS campaign calendar, planning, building and deploying campaigns that drive engagement and revenue.
- Own and optimise all automated flows, including welcome, browse and basket abandonment, post‑purchase, replenishment and win‑back journeys.
- Lead a rigorous test and learn programme, running structured A/B and multivariate tests across content, timing, segmentation and offers.
- Carry out in‑depth flow and campaign analysis, turning performance data into clear insights and prioritised improvements.
- Use Klaviyo to refine segmentation, personalisation and deliverability, keeping the programme healthy, relevant and well‑organised.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, using any spare capacity for data deep‑dives, new test ideas and optimisation projects.
You Will Need
- Around 5 years of hands‑on CRM experience with a strong focus on email and SMS, ideally within D2C, ecommerce or retail. Fashion experience is a plus but not essential.
- Expert‑level experience with a marketing automation platform such as Klaviyo, Braze or Bloomreach, and the confidence to pick up a new platform quickly.
- A proven track record of optimising automated flows and campaigns, with a solid understanding of flow analysis, attribution and the metrics that drive retention.
- A genuine love of execution. You’re as happy building and QA‑ing a campaign as you are shaping the strategy behind it.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy calendar and multiple priorities without close direction.
- A proactive, data‑driven, test‑and‑learn mindset, with the self‑motivation to work autonomously in a fast‑paced scale‑up.
Why You’ll Love It
- A base salary of up to £60,000 for a focused role where you own two of the brand’s most important channels.
- Real ownership and autonomy, with the trust to run your channels and the backing of an experienced Head of Retention.
- A clear progression path, with the opportunity to step into a broader CRM Lead role over time, taking on channels such as direct mail and loyalty.
- The prospect of growing the team, with plans to bring in a junior hire and the chance to develop management experience.
- The opportunity to make a visible commercial impact at a fast‑growing fashion brand during an exciting stage of its growth.
