Senior Manager – Third Party Assurance, Quality & Methodology

Overview

In this role you will support the Third Party Assurance (TPA) Quality & Methodology team to promote consistent quality across Audit & Advisory practices. You will help develop and implement TPA methodology, guidance, and tools, and manage the TPA consultation framework. You will oversee ISQM (UK) 1 System of Quality Management activities and deliver technical guidance and training. The role involves cross-TPA collaboration and contributing to strategic quality initiatives. This is a London-based, hybrid role with impact on governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on compliance with non-audit assurance standards and firm methodology
• Develop and implement TPA methodology, guidance and tools across engagements
• Operate and enhance the TPA consultation framework and handle technical queries
• Manage ISQM (UK) 1 System of Quality Management activities, monitoring remediation
• Create and deliver guidance and learning from methodology and quality activities
• Identify training needs and coordinate with Learning & Development to run TPA training
• Coordinate engagement-level quality assessments (practice reviews)
• Lead cross-TPA and cross-AQD quality initiatives to standardize approaches

Key requirements

• ACA or similar professional accountancy qualification
• Strong understanding of assurance, quality and/or methodology (ISAs, ISREs, ISRSs)
• Experience communicating with partners and staff at all levels
• Awareness of UK/EU regulatory developments (desirable)
