Overview

In this role you will establish and run the Product Dependency Management capability across strategic programmes, enabling an AI-enabled operating model. You will lead dependency governance and create an integrated view of commitments, sequencing and delivery constraints, working with Product, Delivery, Technology, Operations and client teams to support timely decisions and predictable client outcomes. You’ll combine governance, cross-functional coordination and data-driven insight to improve how dependencies are assessed, managed and resolved, and you’ll champion responsible AI use within workflows.

Responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve the Product Dependency Management capability and oversee day-to-day dependency governance across programmes.
• Embed an AI-first operating model by identifying and prioritising AI use cases in dependency workflows.
• Assess programme scope to uncover cross-product, technology and operational dependencies early.
• Use AI-assisted analysis to detect emerging dependencies, conflicts and risks across plans and governance data.
• Maintain an integrated view of roadmaps, milestones and client outcomes; manage the dependency register with owners, dates and plans.
• Support roadmap and release planning with alignment to priorities, capacity and client timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to validate dependencies and drive actions to closure.
• Facilitate dependency reviews, prepare decision-ready materials and escalate unresolved issues.
• Produce dashboards and executive reports; apply AI to improve tracking, reporting and forward-looking insight.

Key requirements

• Investment or asset management industry experience
• Experience in a technology or operations role within asset management or front-/middle-office with client engagement
• Experience across complex programmes requiring cross-functional coordination
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
• Recognised programme, project, product or agile qualification (preferred)
