Senior Buyer

What are the key skills required:

I am recruiting a senior buyer for one of the UK’s leading, and most trusted brands of hardware accessories. This family run business has been at the top of their game for almost 40 years by constantly pushing innovation, producing the highest quality products, and delivering exceptional customer service every time.

Someone to provide operational support through excellent sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products and services.

The position requires an in-depth understanding of the supply chain and to develop and forge strong relationships in the far east.

• Strong import experience and understanding of buying from India
• Experience setting up contracts and working with UK manufacturers- up to £5m spend
• Experience sourcing new and bespoke products

A strong understanding of dealing with Indian suppliers and their culture is essential.
