About the Role
Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Shunter Driver for a well-established client based in Leeds.
This is a site-based night shunting role supporting the client’s overnight operation, moving vehicles safely around the depot between loading bays and designated parking areas.
The Role
• Shunt Class 1 vehicles around the client’s site
• Move vehicles between loading bays and designated parking areas
• Position vehicles safely for loading and unloading operations
• Support the smooth running of the night operation
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues
• Follow all site safety procedures and instructions
Requirements
• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 12 months
• Recent Class 1 driving experience within the last 6 months
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
