Planning Officer

Job Description

A Local Authority based in the East of England are looking for a dynamic planning officer to assist with a caseload of minor and householder applications. 

n

They are ideally looking for someone who has experience working on these sorts of applications for other Local Authorities. 

n

Applications may include:

n

n
• Assessing extensions (single-storey, two-storey and side extensions).

n

• Loft conversions and roof alterations, including dormers.

n

• Garages, outbuildings and garden rooms. n

  n Small residential developments (typically up to 9 dwellings).n

  n

  n Change of use applications (e.g. office to residential, retail to food and drink).n

  n

  n Commercial extensions and alterations.n

n

n
